Courage Club
Find Your People, Build Your Life
Anxiety isn’t something you need to “fix”. It’s a biological response that can be understood and learned to manage. At Courage Club, we create a relaxed, welcoming space where you can be yourself while learning how your brain actually works.
Each workshop is paced, supportive, and hands-on. You might start with a coffee and a
conversation about the week’s topic, move into guided role-play to practice introducing
yourself or asking engaging questions, and finish by putting those skills into action
through game-based or creative group activities.
You don’t have to get rid of anxiety to move forward. At Courage Club, you’ll learn how to feel nervous and still take steps toward the things that matter to you.
The Courage Ladder
For example, your challenges could be: “say hello to someone new”, “ask a question in the
group”, “order coffee on my own”, “participate in a D&D game”, etc.
Each week, you choose your next step.
Small steps, real progress, lasting change.
Why Join?
A Different Kind of Club
It’s not a classroom. It’s a 3-hour weekly get together where we talk about the "brain science" of anxiety, practice social skills through role-play, and then jump straight into fun activities like D&D, Trivia, or group outings
Your Personal Journal
You’ll receive a physical “Courage Companion Journal” to track your wins, map your values, and set your challenges at your own pace.
Community Connection
You’ll receive a physical “Courage Companion Journal” to track your wins, map your values, and set your challenges at your own pace.
Evidence-Based Approach
We use Acceptance & Commitment Training (ACT) and Graduated Exposure. This means we don't push you into the deep end; we help you build a "Courage Ladder" to face your fears one manageable step at a time.
Flexible
You can tap in or tap out of activities at any time, observe before participating, take breaks when needed, choose your own level of challenge, and move at your own pace. You are in control.
Practical Life Skills
While the focus is social, the secondary gains in communication, emotional regulation, and self-advocacy translate directly to increased independence at home and in the community.
